The sales representative is responsible for soliciting the company’s products and services on national level to current and prospective customers.   This individual must have excellent telephone skills, professional sales abilities, a high-level understanding of business and marketing and a good working knowledge of print and cross-media as sources of effective marketing and communication.  Client development from both cold and existing prospects is a critical part of the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Effectively procure and organize viable sales leads and manage the sales process so that the company is a top candidate for current and future business.
• Work with management and the estimators to develop an effective selling and pricing strategy as well as recommendations to the customer for alternative solutions that could enhance the product’s results or save money.
• Work toward established growth goals in terms of sales volume and depth in the customer’s print and media budget.  Must be comfortable with a compensation plan that is directly tied to performance.
• Supply company marketing materials, professional sales letters and job samples to current and prospective customers and communicate the benefits of our products and services.
• Establish credit terms and prepare sales contracts for each job sold.
• Communicate with customer service on job specifications to ensure proper handoff of the job.
• Monitor job progress and stay in contact with the customer.
• Prepare weekly report for sales manager on sales activities.

This creative and technical position is responsible for the conceptual design and creation of images, logos, and printed materials as well as the digital file manipulation. The job involves typesetting at various levels and making changes to materials already created but in need of updating.  This job includes color correction, complete preflight operations, digital proofing, file ripping, and imposition.  Consideration must be given to the customer’s budget, design taste, time, and ultimate use of the product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Preflight all digital files to ensure that the files are accurate, complete and ready for imposition.
• Perform traditional color correction and digital file manipulation.
• Prepare digital files for imposition, file ripping or CTP outputting.
• Perform quality and accuracy inspection of digital and hard copy proofs.
• Monitor soft-proofing site.

  This position functions as the commercial sheetfed press operator. Responsible for the daily workflow schedule set by the department manager, quality control, and machine maintenance.  A very high level of print quality is expected from each job printed, as well as, meeting and exceeding production standards.  The role also includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.

Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintenance of production converting, assembly and machine equipment; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation and start-up of new equipment. The position will require working with production personnel during the troubleshooting, modification, fabrication, welding, and repair of plant equipment, utilities and processes.  Ideal candidate will possess a two year technical degree in a maintenance field and have background in electrical field. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in a Technical discipline such as, Electro-Mechanics, Automation, Machinist, Mechanic or Robotics. Must be able to work with electrical equipment.   Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in an industrial environment desired.  Must be able to work independently or with teams and have strong written and oral communication skills. General Production - Finishing

Continually communicate with the finishing operator on the performance of the current job. Stack books evenly on a pallet/skid. Insert the two skid tags in the shrink-warp of the pallets/skids for shipping. Make sure information is correct on the tags for the skids or mail cages. Tie bundles together straight and even. Watch for jam-ups and miss-feeds on the machine. Efficiently feed the pockets with the printed materials as needed. Move pallets or skids as needed. Inspect product brought to the machine to ensure accuracy. When reading, verify all information on the address is correct and legible. Check finished product for trimmed off type and ensure books are stitched and trimmed straight. Shrink-wrap pallets/skids for shipping. Verify correct information is placed on the pallet, skid or cage tag. Insert skid tags in the shrink-wrap of the pallets/skids for shipping. Ensure information is correct on the tags for the skids or mail cages. Changing strap reel. Keep area around the machines and skids clean of unnecessary items. Follow department operational policies and procedures.
