Experienced folder operator that is proficient in setting-up and maintaining Stahl folders. Cutting experience with Polar or Senator cutters is also preferred. Sets up and operates folder and cutter machines to automatically fold, slit, score and/or cut printed sheets into signatures for binding. Operation of machines requires reading and understanding job ticket to determine setup specifications. Adjusts machines during production run as required. Must be able to troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments while ensuring quality and minimizing wasted product. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains neat; clean orderly work area. Operates or assists on other bindery equipment if needed and when workload permits. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Computer skills helpful.
