Consolidation

Mail pallets on truckConsolidation by definition: Combining shipments to reduce transportation costs to USPS entry points. The cost savings are impacted dramatically by fuel costs. It is also a controlled delivery of time-sensitive standard mail.

Consider this example: Client A has 100,000 pieces they are sending through the USPS.  What we do is consolidate those 100,000 pieces with Client B's 50,000 pieces, and Client C's 200,000 pieces on one truck. It then goes to a consolidator that puts even more mail together and ships directly to the Bulk Mailing Center (BMC) or Sectional Center Facility (SCF). The advantage is that Clients A, B, and C share the freight cost, and all receive a lower postage total, plus the overall timing is more reliable than the alternative. This is a complicated process, but our postal optimization experts will help guide you so that you fully understand the solution.  Contact us for more information.
