QQP 30 Years of Service - Quality Quick Print has been providing printing solutions for 30 years and we want to thank all of our dedicated customers for helping us be successful for this long. Since the opening of the business in 1979, Roger Feickert has had a solid and sound business model. His mission has been to add value to the products and services we provide, through outstanding customer service, cutting edge technical knowledge, innovative production technique and best value pricing.
QQP Rapid Growth - In the past couple of years QQP has been rapidly changing. Aside from technology investments, some of the changes are the new businesses that have been brought into the QQP and Midstates Printing family of companies: QQP Signs and Graphics, Stitchwear Unlimited and Hub One-Eleven Marketing and Design.
QQP New Expansion - We are now in the process of building a state-of-the art facility to bring all of these services under one convenient roof. The new QQP will serve as the area’s premier visual communications headquarters for design and production of print, signs, apparel and online media solutions. Our representatives will be joining our crew at 6th Avenue in our newly expanded interactive demo/showroom. This project will be done by the end of this year.
New QQP - We have been operating these new services for some time and each brings with it an experienced past of its own, but our goal is to provide a one-stop location for all your visual communication needs. Here is an overview of what makes up the new QQP.
QQP Print - With Midstates Printing and QQP as a team you have access to production capabilities of everything from a businesses card to a catalog. We have recently added a new digital color press, great for variable data and short runs. At Midstates we’ve added new full-color cold web and heat set web presses that allow us to efficiently create high quality and eco-friendly booklets and catalogs.
QQP Signs - We have been producing large format printing solutions for over 10 years. This includes banners, posters, trade show graphics and point of purchase displays. We purchased a local business called QQP Signs two years ago and have been operating under the QQP Signs name. We will be changing the name to QQP QQP Signs and combining their services with ours. This valuable addition will add vehicle graphics, outdoor lit signage, temporary signs, and bulb and ballast replacement to our products and services list.
QQP Apparel - We purchased the local embroidery company Stitchwear Unlimited six months ago. This valuable addition will add logowear consisting of shirts, polos, caps, jackets, golf shirts and more.
QQP Online - We started a company called Hub One-Eleven Marketing and Design two years ago. Our mission was to help blend traditional printing with new media technologies. Now known as Midstates Media, we still have the staff and solutions to provide web site design, interactive presentations, video, and data management.
We are excited to offer our new expansion of space and services, please contact us at
226-2541 or go to www.newqqp.com and we will be happy to help you with any projects that you have.

You Shouldn't be Full of Yourself
|
A commonly expressed concern of customers when they come in to update their marketing brochure or materials is how "old" the look is and that "people" are likely getting tired of the message.
Your logo is your brand (along with supporting colors) when it comes to your company's clothing, signage and vehicle graphics, but your marketing materials, ads and web site are things you will have your fill of long before your customers do. Tweaking the content or freshening up some elements is not a bad thing at all. But when you sit down with your QQP marketing rep don't be too quick to tear into your message just because you are tired of looking at it or reading it.
Here are some questions you can ask to determine whether it's time to overhaul or if it’s just time for some fresh images and ink:
- What statements are still true and what claims need to be modified?
- If I change the message or design on this particular piece will it date any other pieces?
- Are customers' perceptions of my product or business the same as what I stated in this piece?
- Does the copy just need to be simplified and not actually taken in a new direction?
- What photos and imagery are needed for brand recognition and what is needed for accuracy?
- What other pieces do you plan to develop that this will need to work with? (web site, videos, trade show displays, signage, apparel)?
Talk these questions through with your associates and with your QQP Visual Communication Specialist and you may find that your marketing message actually needs to be repeated more often, not changed more often. With new production methods and options, there are always new things to consider. Variable Data Printing, Short Run Digital, Full-Color Cold Web, Large Format, and on and on. There is a solution for you at QQP.

Signs of Summer
|
As the days get longer and nights shorter people tend to pay less attention to their outdoor signs, but with the warm weather summer brings, this is the best time of year for sign maintenance.
Many types of maintenance that must be done in a climate controlled workshop in the winter can be done on-site during the summer months. Plastics and resins don't crack like in the frigid winter weather thus removing the risk of damage to signs. Maintenance, like reforming bent materials or even paint touch-ups, can be done on site. Even vinyl installations and touch-ups can be done on-site.
Don't forget the upkeep on your bulbs and ballasts. Remember, a clean well-maintained sign presents you as a clean, professional company.

Here's some information to consider while trying to decide if a vehicle wrap is right for your business.
Let's say the wrap costs $3,000 (costs are less for an average-sized vehicle) and assume that you will keep the wrap on your vehicle for the vehicle's lease of 4 years. Let's figure you drive it daily for transportation and errands and you'll get around 75 impressions per day. Finally, let's take a look at the monthly impact of a vehicle wrap over the life of that period.
$3,000 / 48 = $62.50 per month for the wrap
75 impressions x 5 days = 375 impressions per week x 4 = 1500 impressions per month.
$62.50 / 1500 = $0.04 per impression.
Keep in mind the other benefits of a wrap: the retention rate of this medium is found to be extremely high. People will remember a wrap much more than any other form of outdoor advertising. Also the targeting of this advertising is unsurpassed ... why? Typically a small business owner will drive their company vehicle directly to their target market area, further concentrating the advertising.
You'll be hard-pressed to find an advertising medium at $63/month that has this amount of impact.
For less than the price of a gourmet coffee each day you can be effectively building your brand every time you run an errand, service a customer or deliver product.
Vehicle advertising reaches everyone without discrimination. With a price tag ranging from $2,500-$5,000, QQP makes it very cost effective to achieve the high impact a vehicle wrap has to offer.

Smile for the camera
|
You have a product or service that you know how to pitch, but it is difficult to demonstrate it in an 8x8 trade show booth and your customers aren't sitting at your doorstep. Online video is a very easy and affordable way to create a portable demonstration of your product with crisp sound, professional lighting, great background music, and lots of personality.
The days of worrying about your customer's loading speed are slipping farther and farther into the past. The web crowd now prefers sites with multiple forms of media from which to choose. Downloadable white papers, zoom maps, blogs and yes, video. If you think video could help improve your communication efforts, just ask your QQP Visual Communication Specialist how we can help bring your brochure or web site graphics to life with video. Online or on-air we can help you take your products to your customer's office or home with the sights and sounds needed to help you get a stronger message across to a broader audience.

Apparel-Branding Yourself a Household Name
|
When you see a big golden M, you think "McDonalds," if you see "Just Do It," you think "Nike," when you see a box of facial tissues you think "Kleenex." These are examples of fantastic branding. This strength does not come solely from a sign, a newspaper ad or a brochure. You need to carry your message throughout many forms of media. An excellent method to project your brand and make it mobile is to wear it on your sleeve. Wearing clothing with your company's logo embroidered on it not only looks professional, but also helps get your image in front of your customers. Often times companies will also embroider their web site address onto a cuff or the back of the neckline of a shirt or the back of a cap for additional exposure and convenient distribution of their advertising message. In retail environments logo apparel also serves in a more functional purpose as it identifies your team members so customers know who is there to help. We can embroider on all types of garments and other cloth items.
